When I try to reply to a posting I get a Comment filed where I suppose I’m that should put my reply I reply and try to preview what I have written but what happens is my typing disappears and I am told That a comment filed is required. I can go on day like but I’m not able to post a reply. So my question what am I doing wrong, it is extremely frustrating and it the first time I have encountered such behaviour from a message system. Any help would be very much appreciated

Do you mean "comment field"? When I click on the "reply" button, I get an interface in which to type my message. I wish that I could show you a picture, but I haven’t figured out how to do that. I can email it to you.

Yes, it does say "comment" at the top.

I am having trouble understanding what you are trying to say here. But when I click on "preview" I see a preview of the message in one part of the screen, and I still have an editor window to continue typing my message. Then below that are now two buttons: "save" and "preview". I click "save" when I am done.

I can imagine so! Unfortunately, I cannot tell if you are seeing something different from what I see for some reason, which might mean a bug in the forum system of some sort, or whether you are just not doing something right. Clearly you are able to log in (since you posted this message under your own name). I  do assume that you are logged in when you try to do the reply, right?

Re: Forum comments again
I’ve now found out that if I use Internet Explorer rather than FireFox I can post a comment, so the problem lies with your site, and as I only use Internet Explorer when I’m forced to could find out what is wrong with your site. It is a little ironic when our AVs are supposed to be browser blind.

Re: Forum comments again

I see what you mean! I’ve been using Chrome lately, and hadn’t tried it with Firefox for awhile. Looks like there is a bug in this Drupal forum software with Firefox. I just tried it, and it happened to me the same way as you described. Thanks for tracking this down! I’ll see what I can do.
