Description

Bubble, Insertion, Selection Sorts (and others). Integrated visualization suite. Swapping-bars paradigm with speed control and stepwise operation. Only built-in data set.

Evaluation

While these visualizations miss some opportunities, they are better than average for the bar-swapping paradigm. There are some nice touches. For example, the selection sort visualization highlights the least value seen so far (though it would have been better if it had been in its own unique color). These would be better if there was some explanation of what is going on during the visualization.

Usage Notes

The URL above takes you to a page with menu items on the left that let you pick the implementation type (Java, Flash, JavaScript). From there, you can select the visualization that you want.
