Project Participants
This page is a place for people who want to participate in the project to say something about themselves.
Cliff Shaffer, Virginia Tech. I direct the AlgoViz Project, and I am working to organize the OpenDSA project to get things started.
Tom Naps, University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. I'm one of the lead developers for the JHAVE AV system but am now very interested in how new technologies might be used to inspire wider use of AV in CS education.
Ville Karavirta, Aalto University. I'm one of the developers of TRAKLA2 AV system. My current research is focusing on AV on mobile devices. I'll also be working on the JSAV library.
Ari Korhonen, Aalto University, I'm also one of the developers for the TRAKLA2 AV system, but currently my main interest is to disseminate these new technologies to wider use especially in CS education.
Guido Rößling, TU Darmstadt. I am the main developer of the Animal AV system and am experimenting (to the limited extend that my teaching obligations allow) with various interaction, internationalization, and exercise support ideas.
Pilu Crescenzi, University of Florence. I am the main developer of the AlViE AV system and am, in general, interested in examining how AV technologies can be fully and proficuously integrated within algorithm and data structure courses.
